19th century French Country Louis XV style carved enfilade buffet handcrafted of old growth French oak and ebonized marquetry near Caen, a port city and capital of the department of Calvados in northern France's Normandy region, circa 1850s. This handsome antique French buffet features a molded edge plank top top above three drawers featuring beautiful ebonized marquetry borders over three molded panel doors also featuring ebonized marquetry borders. Door opens to reveal a single shelf. Short carved cabriole legs support the gracefully contoured and carved apron with a stylized center shell. Original hardware.
