Large 19th Century Antique Spanish Terracotta Olive Jar
A large 19th century traditional Spanish terracotta orza or olive jar handmade in the province of Tarragona in Catalonia, circa 1890s, having four handles and an unglazed exterior with the neck, rim, and interior glazed. Used to preserve olive oil, this antique earthenware preserving pot has a wonderful rich patina that only years of use and the weather can create. A lovely choice for the garden or use as a decorative vessel. Will make a nice addition to any pottery collection.
