19th Century French Louis Philipe Style Walnut Enfilade from Brittany
A 19th century French Louis Philippe style enfilade handcrafted by skilled craftsmen in Saint Malo, a port city in Brittany, of solid walnut having a rectangular plank top over three drawers and three paneled doors that open to reveal a single shelf and ample storage, circa 1890s. Raised on carved pistolet feet. Original hardware. This handsome provincial buffet features a stately, tailored architecture and straight lines that are typical of the style, allowing it to easily mix with other periods and styles. Fresh French polish allows the wood to shine and retain its beautiful rich color and patina. The narrow depth makes this a very versatile piece that is perfect for use in a dining room, foyer, hallway, or as a media cabinet. .
