Handsome set of 8 late 19th century French Louis XIII style os de mouton dining side chairs having beautifully carved oak frames with high chapeau de gendarme backs and supported on os de mouton or sheep bone legs with stretcher, circa 1890s. Upholstered with nailhead trim, these large and comfortable dining chairs are very sturdy and suitable for everyday use. A wonderful addition to any dining room.
