Large 19th century French Louis Philippe period buffet deux corps handcrafted of chestnut and burled chestnut, circa 1840s. The upper cabinet, having a doucine crown above three burled chestnut panel doors, opens to reveal an interior shelf with plenty of storage. The lower buffet features three drawers over three burled chestnut panel doors that also open to reveal a single shelf and more storage. Raised on plinth base with carved feet. The straight lines and subtle curves of this beautiful Louis Philippe piece allow it to mix well with both modern and traditional interiors to create a look that appears as though it's evolved over time.
