19th century French Louis Philippe style bonnetiere constructed by talented craftsmen in Brittany of solid cherry having a doucine crown and raised on bracket feet. The interior reveals a single shelf, circa 1880s. Less ornate than other styles, this handsome bonnetiere is still elegant in an unpretentious fashion and would work beautifully in a variety of settings, both contemporary and traditional.
