18th Century French Country Louis XV Period Bleached Oak Buffet
18th century French Country Louis XV period buffet handcrafted by talented artisans in the South of France near Toulouse of old growth oak that's been bleached or washed to a natural finish retaining its beautiful patina, circa 1740s. Unmistakably French, this wonderful washed oak buffet has two drawers over two recessed panel doors with original iron hardware and hand carved details throughout. Doors open to reveal a single shelf. Carved, shaped apron resting on short cabriole legs ending in scrolled French toes. A lovely buffet that is perfect for entertaining, having plenty of storage and a nice serving surface. The narrow depth of this versatile piece makes it perfect for a dining room, foyer, or in a den as a media cabinet.
