Early 19th Century French Country Louis XV Style Cherry Enfilade Buffet
Beautiful early-19th century French Country Louis XV style enfilade buffet handcrafted by skilled country cabinetmakers near Bordeaux of solid cherry wood with a lovely sun bleached patina, having a moulded plank top above a carved frieze that sits over two raised panel center drawers with four moulded paneled doors below that open to reveal spacious storage divided by a single shelf, circa 1810s. Short carved cabriole legs support the gracefully contoured and carved apron. The narrow depth of this long enfilade makes it perfect for a foyer, hallway, large dining room, or as a TV cabinet.
