Handsome French Louis Philippe style portefeuille table constructed of solid french oak, circa 1930s. This Country French flip top pantry table was often found in small farm houses where it doubled as a work table when not open and a dining table when open. Raised on turned legs and stabilized by an H-stretcher. A practical table for smaller spaces, finished on all sides so that it can float in the room. Also makes a wonderful console or sofa table.
