Hard to find set of six French Louis XIV style ladder back dining chairs in walnut, each having a squared back with three horizontal slats and solid wood seat, circa 1890s. Raised on turned front legs and squared back legs with an H-stretcher and multiple turned crossbars that provide extra stability. These handsome side chairs have a lovely patina from years of use and are very sturdy and comfortable.
