Antique French Louis XV style Provençal bassette or small armoire handcrafted near Avignon of cherry wood, circa 1850s. This provincial piece features intricately carved fish scale swags, S-scrolls, and stylized plumes. The raised and recessed paneled doors open to reveal a spacious interior with three shelves. Raised on short cabriole legs.
