Handsome 19th century Louis XVI style silver gilt mirror with a carved, gilded cameo embedded into the cartouche having ribbon and garland motifs and original mercury glass, circa 1890s. The silver gilt is in excellent antique condition, with a beautiful metallic lustre. The unique appearance of antique mirror glass always adds charm and character that is impossible to achieve with new mirror glass.
