Set of six Louis XV Style Country French ladder back dining chairs from Provence with traditional Provençal carvings and rush seats, circa 1920s. Hand crafted from solid walnut, each chair is decorated with foliate motifs on the crest rail, apron and front stretcher. The front legs have a pretty cabriole shape with foliate carved knees ending in scrolled French toes.
