An elegant 20th century French Louis XVI style ladies coiffeuse or vanity dressing table attributed to the distinguished French atelier, Maison Jansen, circa 1920s. Having a brass base and white Cararra marble top, this finely crafted neoclassical vanity features a single painted creamy white drawer with brass knob in the apron and an attached swivel brass mirror that retains it's original beveled glass plate and is adorned with a bow tied ribbon motif as the crown. In all original condition, the original painted finish has achieved a lovely patina over the decades. A wonderful example of the high quality workmanship and style of the highly sought after Paris atelier, this versatile piece could also function as a night stand.
