Handsome set of ten mid-19th century French Louis XIV style dining chairs handcrafted of solid oak by talented artisans in the South of France. Each with a high curved back with brass nailhead trim and square section seat, having stylized cabriole legs ending in pieds de biche, joined by shaped, carved stretchers.
With a deep rich patina, these comfortable chairs are solid and very sturdy, ready for everyday use. Old upholstery is serviceable but varies in condition with some chairs showing greater wear than others. Dimensions:
