Set of six country French Louis XV dining chairs with cane backs and upholstered seats. Handcrafted from solid French walnut by skilled artisans near Lyon, this charming set dates from the late 1800s. Each chair is decorated with shell motifs on the apron, raised on four graceful cabriole legs ending in scrolled French toes. All the cane has been redone and is in excellent condition, very strong and sturdy. The backs and legs for all of the chairs are very solid and sturdy, ready for everyday use. Need to be reupholstered.
