A nearly 400-year-old solid walnut buffet, handcrafted by talented artisans near Lyon during the reign of Louis XIII. This rare, period 17th century buffet with a rectangular top sitting above two drawers with original iron hardware has three torsades or twisted columns that provide the framework for the carved and moulded door panels that open to reveal a single shelf. All this rests on bun feet. The aged patina is beautiful.
