Solid mahogany Maison Jansen attributed Louis XVI style, marble-top commode, ebonized with a lustrous French polish. This three-drawer commode, having a pierced bronze gallery surrounding the fabulous marble top with beautiful coloring of black and gray veins on a mostly white background is adorned with original bronze hardware and brass trim, the sides displaying bronze medallions on each corner. Raised on short tapered, reeded legs with bronze capitals, ending in brass sabots. The beauty is in the refinement of the details.
