Lovely 19th century French terracotta bowl, known as a tian, once used to prepare and cook boudin noir or cassoulet. This round handmade terracotta bowl from southwest France features two small handles, a lip for pouring, and has a Provencal yellow glaze on the inside with natural earthenware finish on the outside. Some crazing and chips from years of use. Use this large bowl as a serving piece, a center piece for fruit or flowers, or fill one with ice to chill champagne or your favorite cold beverage. They're the perfect Country French accent when entertaining.
