Antique French Renaissance style cabinet de confiture. Circa 1850s. Solid oak. The intricately carved cabinet features a single drawer with carved griffin pulls above two doors with floral and foliate motifs flanked by turned columns resting on bun feet. The top and sides have acanthus carvings. Originally used to store jams and jellies.
