19th century painted French Louis XV style buffet deux corps handcrafted from French white oak by master artisans of Pays de Caux, Normandie. Upper cabinet with chapeau de gendarme crown with c-scrolls above a carved frieze decorated with a single galette. The two upper doors with carved scroll and galette motifs have been fitted with chicken wire and open to reveal two interior shelves. Lower buffet with two moulded, paneled doors with c-scrolls and single interior shelf. Carved, shaped apron resting on scrolled French toes on pegs.
