An early 19th century French Empire period provincial side table or work table handcrafted in Lyon of solid walnut with a chestnut top, circa 1810. This handsome French table features a rectangular plank top above a single long drawer with two circular brass pulls and a decorative brass escutcheon, all original. Raised on square tapering legs. A simple yet elegant antique table that will work with traditional or modern interiors.
