A set of six antique French Louis XVI style carved and painted dining side chairs from Paris, having the original creamy white painted finish that has distressed beautifully over the years, circa 1920s. Traditional French upholstered shield backs and serpentine seats with carved seat rails. All resting on stop-fluted circular tapering legs headed by rosettes. Raised on toupie feet ending in brass sabots. These lovely French dining chairs are a timeless style that will work with traditional or modern interiors. Very sturdy and ready for everyday use. Upholstery in good condition.
