I happened upon Laurent and Lolo French Antiques on a trip to Birmingham with my husband and daughter, who was looking at attending dental school at UAB. What a find that antique shop was and I thank my lucky stars we happened upon them when we did. We have purchased several pieces from them since then — the last being a Normandy wedding armoire. It was gorgeous online and when I saw it in the shop, I nearly fell over. It is beautiful, elegant, stunning! Everyone there is so helpful in getting items shipped with white glove care also. While I gravitate toward bleached pieces for my French Country home in the Space Coast region of Florida, the shop has something for everyone! Lolo French Antiques is my happy place! I wish I lived closer... also to see my kid, but this sweetens the deal quite a bit.
